We, the faculty of Billings High School, in accordance with the Educational Philosophy of the Billings Public Schools, believe that every student deserves the opportunity to develop his or her fullest academic and social potential.

To this end we are committed to developing an educational environment that fosters growth and self-esteen by meeting and nurturing students at their developmental levels.  It is our goal for each student to develop practices of responsible citizenship and a lifelong pursuit of learning. We believe that all students should have the opportunity to acquire basic skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, logical reasoning, computation and evaluation to enable them to develop their abilities.

We believe our curriculum should provide a sequence of experiences through which the students can obtain their growth. We believe that it is important that students learn to adapt to the complex changes in the world.  It is our hope to create an atmosphere of intellectual freedom and self-discipline at Billings High School which will continue to influence our students throughout their lives.
